Teleworkers join together at work clubs

Work clubs are popping up all over – not just in obvious spots like New York and San Francisco – but in smaller cities such as Kansas City, Mo.

Open Studio is the vision of graphic designer and full-time corporate teleworker Bobby Kellogg. Like many workspace entrepreneurs, Kellogg wanted to create the perfect workspace for himself and share it with his professional community – mainly graphic designers, architects and photographers.

The join together to share a social community as well as a better coffee machine and even a common health insurance plan… Looks like a new contra-trend to the work-at-home movement…
