Dealing with poor performers
Most managers will tell you that one of the toughest aspects of their jobs is dealing with poor performers. The hardest thing to do is to look a person in the eye and tell them they’re not good enough. However, not addressing the problem with your under performers will actually wind up causing you more problems in your organization. Doing sloppy work will not only affect the business units that are footing the bill, but it will also eat away at your own IT organization.
